About Us

Purpose: The original purpose of the clinic was to provide afterhours care for patients and allow the local clinicians a chance to arrive at the clinic the following day refreshed and at their best so as to provide the best possible care for their patients.  This remains the purpose of the emergency clinic.  In addition, we have the goal of having equipment available to provide timely diagnosis of conditions and rapid application of treatments to allow rapid relief of suffering.  As an emergency clinic, no appointments are needed but patients are seen on a most urgent needs first basis.

History:  The clinic has been in operation since 2004.  NIPE was started by a group of local clinics that were looking to provide better after hours care for their patients.  The business changed ownership in 2006 and has remained under the current ownership since.  The clinic has expanded from its humble beginnings of 1600 sq ft to a modest 3500 sq ft.  We continually add new equipment and medications to remain at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.

Mission Statement: We will provide rapid diagnosis and timely treatments of our patients in a compassionate manner.  Above all, the care of our patients is our most important concern.

Vision: The clinic will continue to add new equipment and new treatments to provide the most up to date care for our patients.  We will continue to grow to meet the needs of our referring vets, our clients and our patients.  As an emergency clinic, we will concentrate on just that.  As emergency medicine becomes more complicated and involved, we will strive to keep up to date on the most modern treatment modalities.  We will focus on emergency medicine and leave routine care such as vaccines, dentals and neuters to those who know that the best, the local practitioners.  We will continue to pursue the use of specialists such as radiologists to provide more advanced care for our patients.
